Penad To Provide Customized Pension Administration Software For The Retail Wholesale Union

May 15, 1999 -- Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
Penad Pension Services has been contracted to provide a customized pension administration software solution for the defined benefit pension plan of the Retail Wholesale Union of British Columbia (RWU).

With 2,500 members, the RWU forms one of British Columbia’s leading labor organizations. Penad will provide a new administration solution to replace the organization’s legacy software, which is not Y2K compatible. Among the reasons for selecting Penad’s system was its unique ability to service the administration needs of multiple employers while handling the complex benefit provisions of the union’s plan.

"Penad offered RWU both an immediate solution to the Y2K problem and a long-term solution to optimizing its administration software," said Frank Price, President of Penad. "We’re gratified that RWU recognized this and we look forward to serving its plan needs."
